Abstract
Regenerative longevity medicine is revolutionizing healthcare by targeting the biological mechanisms of aging to extend healthspan(definition) and improve quality of life. This article critically examines the integration of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) into regenerative medicine, emphasizing its role in cellular repair, inflammation reduction, and cognitive enhancement. Despite evidence supporting its efficacy in modulating biological aging markers such as telomere(definition) length and cellular senescence(definition), HBOT remains underrepresented in longevity medicine discourse. We argue for the necessity of including HBOT in regenerative strategies and explore its synergistic potential with interventions like stem cell therapy, senolytics(definition), and precision nutrition. By synthesizing HBOT with cutting-edge regenerative approaches, we propose a more comprehensive framework for addressing the multifaceted nature of aging.
