Annotated Seurat object for a single-nuclei transcriptomic atlas of aging female and male African turquoise killifish brains of the GRZ and ZMZ-1001 strains
Figshare · 2026
Abstract
The African turquoise killifish (Nothobranchius furzeri), the shortest-lived vertebrate that can be bred in captivity, is an emerging model organism to study vertebrate aging. Here, we describe a large, multi-strain, single-nuclei gene expression atlas of female and male turquoise killifish brain across adult ages. The annotated seurat object is available. An interactive R Shiny application based on this object is available at https://minhooki.shinyapps.io/killifish-brain-atlas/
